Supporting The Fisher House for our military and their families.

A Message from Steve and Glen

Glen and I cannot find the words to thank you enough for joining us at the NoClu! Golf Classic today to benefit The Fisher House. It was a phenomenal event because of you and your generous support. Our goal today was to shake the hand of each and every one of you personally. If we missed anyone we sincerely apologize. But, please know just how valuable your support is to our true America heroes like Sgt. John Moore. Just being with him today makes today a day we will never forget. He is now a valuable member of the NoClu! Golf family. And, we could not have done it today without our volunteers and Nathan Presnal and his entire staff at Lake Presidential. We owe each of you a debt of gratitude. I think you will agree that they all did a terrific job today.

TESTIMONIALS

"To begin, the generosity of everyone was heartfelt and overwhelming. What a warm reception I received. So many people wanted to thank me for my service, but I'm the one who wants to thank them for the unbelievable time that I had. The tournament was great fun. I made a lot of new friends and sincerely appreciate all the kind words from everyone. This was a great event at a great golf course for a great cause and I know personally how many of my friends at Walter Reed appreciate the valuable support NoClu! Golf and all of the participants in the event are providing The Fisher House. Let's not forget the golf. It was without a doubt the best course I have ever played. I would like to thank Steve and Glen at NoClu! Golf and Nathan and his staff at Lake Presidential for making it such a special day for me. I am proud to now be an official NoClu! Golf Putterhead. I can't wait for the next one."
Sgt. John Moore (U.S. Army)
(Sgt. Moore lost his leg when an improvised Explosive Device was detonated while he and his fire team were on a mission in Iraq. An avid golfer, he played in the NoClu! Golf Classic and, for the first time since his accident, completed all 18 holes!)

"All that I could say throughout the day was AWESOME. From the instant I pulled into the parking lot through the drive out in the evening, I was totally amazed at the day's events. I could not think of a better way to support our troops during their times of need. I made a pledge to myself to play in every tournament that the NoClu guys put together in support of our troops or Fisher House. The experience was unbelievable and it will remain a cherished memory for the rest of my life."
Rich Stone (United States Navy, Retired)

"The NoClu! Golf Classic goes on my calendar as a "must play" ever year. Extremely well organized and managed. The course and staff at Lake Presidential was magnificent. It was great meeting a true American hero in Sgt. John Moore. I'm not sure how you can top this one but I'm sure you will find a way."
Mike Patrick, ESPN

"The No Clue Golf Classic had everything you could ask for in a golf tournament - superbly run event, an outstanding course, great staff from both Lake Presidential and NoClu!, and finally and most importantly, an extraordinarily worthy cause that benefited our wounded military heroes through the Fisher House program."
Mark W. Sparks

"My overall experience at this tournament was great. This is an important charity that pays homage to our young troops for their individual sacrifice. I will place this event on my calendar as a yearly event!"
Robert Sharp

"This was one of the most enjoyable tournaments that I have ever played in. The cost was very reasonable for the experience of playing on such a magnificent golf course. Some tournaments are so expensive as the food, drink and prizes seem to overshadow the charity and the golfing experience. This was a great balance of keeping costs down and still having great golf, fine food, and money raised for a wonderful cause. I am already looking forward to next year's event."
Paul A. Evans

"Great job. Thought everything was terrific. You obviously have a great relationship with the Club Pro. I have seen clinics at outings before, but the 'Beat the Pro" was a great idea. Not sure how many Pros would actually participate in something like that. The speeches were just the right length--not to long. Dinner was great. You should all be very proud. You did a great job for a great cause."
Skip Lacey

"The Lake Presidential course was in good shape and the views were magnificent! The cost for the tournament was very reasonable for a course of that quality with cart. The crew that worked the golf event itself was really squared away."
Craig Einsel

"The golf course was in absolute wonderful shape, by far the nicest golf course I played this year. I will be in for any other tournaments you provide. Again thank you."
Greg Southwick

"Outstanding event anyway you look at it. A perfect day for a great cause."
Rich Daniel

"Especially for a first time endeavor, the NoClu Classic was extremely well-run. The welcome was warm, the facility was nice, and the course was beautiful. And knowing that the proceeds were going to such a worthwhile cause made the day even better. It was a first class event."
Susan Davies

"For weeks I was looking forward to playing in the NoClu! golf tournament mostly because I enjoy the Texas Scramble format and love playing on one of the best tracks in the state at Lake Presidential. However, while the golf was as terrific as I anticipated, it was greatly overshadowed by the presence and genuine words of Sgt. John Moore of the Fisher House. He made the day special and every person in that room understood how important their contribution was and the difference we could make for heroes like Sgt. John Moore. Kudos for NoClu! Golf for making this happen!"
Brian Bassett

"This tournament had more of a warm and friendly feel to it than any tournament I've ever played in. As the players gathered near the carts shortly before tee time, the camaraderie was such that you almost didn't want tee off time to arrive, preferring to chat with old friends instead. I could say that this was wonderfully organized for a first year tournament, but the truth is, it was wonderfully organized for a tournament of any age."
Jimmy Payne

"I was very impressed at how well organized and successful the event was - especially for it being the very first one. It was a great day. Lake Presidential was probably the best course I have ever played, and the staff was very friendly and pleasant. Not only was it fun, but it also helped support a great cause in the Fisher House. On top of all that, for once, I actually played like I had a 'clu'."
Tony Christy

"Thank you for bringing well-deserved attention to Fisher House and the military personnel they provide services for. Congratulations on the first of what is hoped to be many more tournaments to raise funds for this highly worthy and patriotic cause."
Jill Masterman

"It turned out to be a great day, great event and all for a fantastic cause. (Sgt. John Moore was a great inspiration to see and hear!) The weather remained at bay and the pace of play was absolutely perfect. I love the use of strings and do-overs - which helped take the ease off of playing "perfect", not that I have or will ever experience that! The Margarita at the turn was fantastic (and helped quite a bit with the longest drive competition). I recommend everyone do that next year. Very nice job guys - looking forward to 2010!"
Alisa Prendergast

"In general, I had a good time playing in the event. My partners were nice to play with and very interesting to talk to. I would like to play again next year."
Luke Wong

"The NoClu! Classic was one of the nicest, if not the nicest, golf events I have ever played in. I was particularly impressed by the overall organization of the day. From check in to the dinner. Thanks very much to everyone who contributed to make the day so successful."
Jeanie Broderick

"NoClu may describe some of their shots out of the rough, but the guys most certainly have a Clu when it comes to a great golf outing. Great time...Great Course...and most importantly Great Cause to raise money for."
James Hull

"A worthy cause and golf too! I support that!"
Bill Byrd

"The golf tournament was great and you and the golf pro and his staff could not have been more courteous."
Rob Bailey, Jr.

"I was very impressed with the smooth operation of your volunteer group. The staff at Lake presidential were outstanding, as was the golf course. As a tournament director myself I know how much effort is involved, and my hats off to your group. Looking forward to next year."
Dan Caulkins

"It was a good day for a very good cause! I am glad to have been a part of the first one."
Bill Burroughs

"The cause, course, guest speaker, and hosts were all terrific. The NoClu! Golf Classic provided for a wonderful day of networking on a beautifully landscaped golf course. I was happy to contribute knowing a portion of the proceeds would benefit The Fisher House which helps America's military and their families."
